It is free & open source blogging tool. The founder of WordPress are Matt Mullenweg & Mike Little. It is launched with b2/cafelog blogging software. On 27th May, 2003. WordPress released first version under 0.70. It is the summary of WordPress history.
On 24th January, 2003, Matt Mullenweg wrote about update version of b2 blogging software & there he first time comment. Here Mike Little added comment:
