Google Doodle Pay Tribute To Catalan Architect Antoni Gaudí

25 June, 2013 Google decorates its Doodle with 161st birthday of Antoni Gaudí. He is the Catalan architect. His unique style are mainly seen in the Catalan capital of Barcelona. We see in Google Doodle six of Gaudi’s iconic buildings which write as Google, although we can’t understand the actual letters (Google).

He was born in 25 June 1852 in Reus, He died very sad death. He fell under the wheels of a city tram in 1926, then he died there. He was taken to the Sagrada Familia church for the funeral.


Every year, tourists visit to Barcelona to see his masterful works, including Park Guell which is a steep garden complex with architectural.


Seven of Antoni Gaudí’s designs, inside and around Barcelona, have been designated as World Heritage sites.
