From  the history, it is said that domestic servants were given rest on that particular day to visit their families.

“M” is for the million things she gave me,

“O” means only that she’s growing old,

“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,

“H” is for her heart of purest gold,

“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,

“R” means right, and right she’ll always be.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!

  1. Hi Ahsan,

Yes, I saw that doodle on Mother’s Day and was delighted because it looked so apt and right for the special day as well 🙂

I like the way Google comes out with such nice doodles as per the occasion, and we get to see and share it too. Makes such days more interesting, isn’t it?

Thanks for sharing, and the lovely poems too. Happy weekend 🙂
