Google Doodle is a regular feature in Google Search. It is generally designed to remember any special occasion or day. On February 6 Google Doodle remembers Mary Leakey’s 100th Birthday anniversary.

 

Mary Leakey regarded as first person who discovered the first fossilized skull of an extinct ape. Today is her 100th anniversary of birth. She is a British archaeologist and anthropologist.

She was born on February 6, 1913 and died in December 9, 1996. She completed her education from University College London. She has 3 children: Philip Leakey, Jonathan Leakey, Richard Leakey .

 

She passed most of her life in working at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania. Her discovery of the first fossilized skull thought to be an ancestor of human’s body.
