If anyone knows your Facebook ID & password, still he can’t access your account. Isn’t it interesting!

Lets reveal this secret.

From AccountAccount Settings

Left side click Security

Click Edit in Login Approvals

Now tick mark Require me to enter a security code each time an unrecognized computer or device tries to access my account

A new message will show. Click Set Up Now. Now add phone no. in blank mobile box & click continue. A code will be send to your mobile. Add the code in blank box & click continue

You also need to tick mark other 2 options:

Send me an email

Send me a text message

Click Save & log out from Facebook account.

Now log in again. A new page will open. Give a name in Name New Computer. You can add here any name. Tick mark Add to Your List of Recognized devices & continue. From now on if you log in your Facebook account from this PC (server), you will automatically go to main page of Facebook without any harm. But if you enter your Facebook account from other computer a code no. will be send in your mobile. You need to put the code then you can access your account from other’s PC.

So if anyone knows your Facebook Id & password, he can’t access your account. But there is a question. If your mobile lost or hijacked what will happen? If your no. is lost, you can’t access your Facebook account from other’s PC. You can access only from your PC. So at first to access your account from other’s PC you need to change mobile no.
