Facebook Page plays a vital role for bloggers. I doubt there will be difficult to find a blogger who no Facebook Page. Today I shall share an important information on Facebook Page.

From now on you can change your Facebook page URL or username. But there are some restriction you should remember.

Previously you can’t change claimed Facebook page URL. There are some binding. If your page “liked” by 100+, you can’t change your Facebook Page URL.

So previously once you claimed Facebook page URL, there was no option to change. The only way to change username was to delete the old Facebook page & you lose all likes and recreate a new  desired username. (Read: How To Add Blank Status in Facebook)

But now the restriction changed.

Facebook Page owners can now change the username of Page.

Lets reveal the process:

Go to Facebook Page,

Click Edit Page – >

Click Update Info and

Click the “Change Username” link under the Username option.

Several things you should remember before changing Facebook Page Username:

• When you pick new username, the old one will be omitted. It’ll be no more.

• You can only change the username once after you set it the first time.

• You can’t transfer the ownership of a username to another party.

•  You can’t violate anyone else trademark rights.

•  If you are acquiring a username to sell it in the future (squatting), you will lose it.

• Usernames may be reclaimed for other unauthorized usages.

Facebook is the most popular social network. We already are using lots of apps to make Facebook more stylish & user friendly. Today I’ll share a small but special tips by which you can change Facebook text & Background color.

To do this you need to have three things installed in your PC.

• Mozila Firefox browser

• Greasemonkey

• Facebook Script

At first install Greasemonkey addon.

Its size 167 kb.

Restart Mozilla.

Now install Facebook Color Changer script

After successful installation open your Facebook account.

Now go to Tools> Greasemonkey> Userscript Commands> Customise Facebook Colors.

You will now see two boxes with color panel. Select the color you want and click on Set button.

When you are changing color, you can see the change in Facebook page as preview.

If you are a Mozilla user, you can do this easily by installing Mozilla Addon – Facebook Translate.  This addon translates status updates and comments on Facebook.

Visit Facebook Translate addon site

Click Add To Firefox.

Its size 265 kb.

It will start downloading.

Then Click Install Now.

Now restart Firefox.

The add-on doesn’t load the Translation links by default. In order to add the ‘Translate’ links to your Facebook, you will have to activate the add-on by clicking either the urlbar or the the toolbar button.

If you would like to specify what to add, clicking the toolbar button arrow will pen a menu where you can choose whether to add ‘Translate’ links to either only status updates or comments only. You can also choose different languages:

To select language : Tools > Add-ons > Facebook Translate > Preferences

Copy the link URL & go to www.facebookvideodown.com

& paste in the blank space.

Click Download button.

You’ll see a link below – Download this video.

Click it.

A new tab will open. Play the video.

Right click of mouse. Click Save video as & save desired location.
