I think among all major search engine sites, Yahoo will be in the Second Position. Most of the times when a site launched, Google Search Engine automatically index new site but Yahoo don’t add the site. You need to submit your website to Yahoo search engine manually.
It’s very easy to submit website in Yahoo.
Sign in Yahoo account
Click Submit a Website or Webpage
Now add here your site URL. For example, http://www.techdesighn.com.
Click Submit URL. It will take some time for Yahoo robots to crawl.

Yeah thats what I notice also and one more thing sometimes its difficult to get traffic from yahoo SE if your post has little or no backlink at all. Thanks for this I’m going to do it now.

It is well known that natural links are an indicator of quality content. People are linking to you because they find your site interesting and they are receiving an incentive for their action. Of course, if you’re paying for links you can always try to make your link profile look more natural.
Yahoo! Search has merged Site Explorer into Bing Webmaster Tools. Webmasters should now be using the Bing Webmaster Tools to ensure that their websites continue to get high quality organic search traffic from Bing and Yahoo!
Yahoo submission now seems not needed.
